Unlike outside one can customize everything. One can use anything that suits there skin and not use something that does not. These baths can be made not only for self indulgence but also for giving out gifts. Here are some of the very cool homemade recipes for baths.
1) Easy bubble bath

This is the easiest recipe of making bubble bath at home. To make this one would require around 4-5 drops of fragrance oil, around a quart of water, 1.5 ounces of glycerin, 1 bar of flaked or grated castille soap. To make this bubble bath all the ingredients are mixed well together and stored in a container for sometime. During the bath one can pour it in the running water and enjoy it. All the ingredients are easily available and are not much expensive. One can find stuff like castille soap at any store of health and food.
2) Simple bubble bath
To make this kind of bubble bath without any flavor, one would require around 4 T. of herbs; one can pick any herb that they like the most, around 2 tablespoons of oil which should be corresponding with the type of dried herbs selected, ½ pt. of distilled water and ½ pt. of organic cleanser.
The process of making the bubble bath is very simple. First the water and the herb are boiled and simmered together for around half an hour. After 30 minutes the herbs are squeezed well so that the water retains its essence and then is taken out of the water. The water is allowed to cool a bit. Once the water is cooled, the essential oil and the liquid cleanser are added to it. One can pour it in any container of their choice and use it while the bath.
3) Vanilla and raspberry bubble bath
To make this type of bubble bath one would require 8 oz. of liquid soap, 2 oz. of distilled water, around 8 drops of vanilla flavored fragrance oil 6 drops of raspberry flavored fragrance oil and red food coloring which should not be more than 2 drops. All the ingredients are mixed well poured in to a container and is ready to use.

Blackheads can be easily defined as the follicles whose openings are comparatively wider than the normal opening. When the sebaceous are over active, blackheads appear on the skin. They can appear anywhere in the body where the sebaceous are present and are over active. Oily skin and the environmental pollution are the main causes of blackheads. There is variety of products available in market claiming to treat blackheads. Although some of these products are good, some of them can cause adverse effect on the skin. Most of these products contain harsh chemicals which can harm the sensitive skin. However one can use natural homemade remedies which are quite effective in treating blackheads. Here are a few remedies which one can try to cure blackheads.

1) To prevent blackheads one can apply a teaspoon of lime juice along with groundnut oil in equal quantity to the face. This helps in putting a stop to blackheads forming on the face.
2) A mixture of Epsom salt and iodine is also very good for treating black heads. To make this one has to take 14th cup of hot water and mix it with one teaspoon each of iodine and Epsom salt. After it has mixed well and cooled down, the mixture is applied to the blackheads as well as the surrounding areas. The mixture can be dabbed with a cotton ball. After the mixture has dried it can be removed with a clean handkerchief or a piece of cloth.
3) One can also apply the mixture of drumstick pods and a little bit of lemon juice on the affected areas. This is a very good home remedy for treating and curing blackheads.
4) Fenugreek leaves also have properties that help in curing blackheads. To apply it on face, one can make a paste of the fenugreek leaves by adding a little bit of water to it. This paste is left on the face for around 15 minutes and then washed off with lukewarm water. If this paste is applied every night before sleeping then it is almost infallible in treating blackheads.
5) One can also make a face wash by blending fresh lime juice and bottled milk together for removing the blackheads.
6) Steaming is very useful in removing the blackheads. It helps in softening the pores making it open and easy to remove.
7) A paste of radish seeds and water is also very good for removing blackheads.

In order to make this you will require 3 tablespoon of rose water, 2 tablespoons of line juice and 1 tablespoons of glycerin. Then mix all the ingredients very well. The lotion that is prepared should be applied to your body after a shower. Now if you have a dry skin then use the above lotion as mentioned. Otherwise depending on the skin type one can change the proportions of the ingredients that are mixed. It is important that the lotion is stored in a cool place like refrigerators.
- Almond Body lotion – In order to prepare this body lotion you require a lot of things. Firstly you require 3 teaspoons of lanolin, 1 teaspoon of almond oil and 1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly. Further you also require 1 teaspoon of vegetable lard, 2 teaspoons glycerin, 10 tablespoons of water, 1 teaspoon of soap flakes and 1 teaspoon of cornflower. Also add perfume or almond essence. Once you have all these ingredients then you are prepared to make the almond body lotion. First of all heat the water and the oils separately. Once heated pour them into other ingredients and mix all the ingredients. After the mixture is prepared pour it into a bottle and then shake it vigorously. Then lastly add perfume.

Many a times it happen that taking only a shower doesn’t help in cleaning your body. You might feel fresh and clean after a shower but in fact there are germs still present in your skin which are hiding inside the pores of your skin. For them cleansing creams is the only answer. There are various recipes through which you can prepare homemade cleansing creams. However the most commonly used homemade cleansing cream is Cucumber Cleansing cream. This cleansing cream has proved very effective and people find it really very helpful. In order to prepare this cream you would require 30 gm of bee wax, 500 ml of olive oil, 30 gms of spermaceti, 1 tsp of sodium benzoate and half cup of cucumber juice. Take a big open pot and fill it with boiled water and inside it put a bowl. Then pour the bee wax and the spermaceti in order to melt it. After melting it remove the bowl and then pour cucumber juice and olive oil. Finally add sodium benzoate in the mixture that has been prepared in the bowl that was kept inside the pot. Now your cleanser is ready to use and you can use it once it gets cooled.

Dry skin is characterized by the desiccated look of the face caused by the inability of the skin to retain the moisture. 1) A pinch of turmeric is mixed with gram flour. By using milk or raw cream a paste is made. This paste is applied to the face and washed off after it dries with warm water.
2) A paste of milk powder and honey is also helpful in treating dry skin. This paste is applied to the face and should be washed off after around 15 to 20 minutes. Lukewarm water should be used to wash it off.
3) Wheat flour is also good for dry skin like gram flour. One can make a paste of wheat flour and milk or cream and apply it to the face. This helps not only in reduction of dryness from the face but it also makes the skin healthier, supple and smooth.
4) First almond seeds are soaked in water. With the use of honey a paste is made and this mixture is then applied to the face. One has to wash this face pack after 20 minutes with warm to lukewarm water. This face pack not only helps to cope up with dry skin but it also helps in rejuvenating the face and adds to glow. This mixture can also be used as a fairness face pack.
5) Gram flour can be made in to a paste with the use of rose water also. A little bit of milk cream is added to this mixture. This mixture is washed off from the face after it is only half dry.
6) Milk cream has very good qualities that help in soothing the problems of dry skin. Milk cream can be added to any of these above recipes to cope up with the problem of dry skin.

These face masks are very easily available and can be acquired by anyone irrespective of their age and income group. These homemade recipes help in rejuvenating the face and giving it a youthful appearance. Here is the recipe for a homemade face lift mask –
Vitamin E facelift facemask (normal to dry skin)

This facemask is very easy to make and very inexpensive. The ingredients are easily available and it works wonders.
To make this face mask one first requires 1/4th of a cup of whipped cream. The cream should be very heavy. A medium sized banana and gel capsules of vitamin E are also required. Vitamin E gel capsules are easily available at any chemist’s shop.
To make the face mask, first the banana is peeled and mashed in a container. The vitamin E capsules are punctured and the content is squeezed and poured in to the container. The shipped cream is added to the mixture and it is stirred well. It should be mixed well until and unless the mixture has nicely blended. After the mixture has blended well, the face mask is ready to be applied to the throat, neck and above all the face. The mask should be left for at least 15 minutes so that it gets enough time to penetrate the skin properly and reach to the roots. After some time the facemask can be washed off with the help of warm water and a cloth. After the face is dried with a towel one would definitely find an invigorating glow In the face.
