Body odor is something which no one can do away with. In today’s world presentation has become one of the major factors in most of the cases. Apart from this it also affects one’s personality and also can put one in a very embarrassing position. Thus controlling body odor is very necessary. The only way to control body odor is through deodorants which kills the germs that spread odor and also give a faint fragrance which is good. There are various deodorants that are available in the market which is quite harmful for skin. Though not all deodorants are harmful still homemade deodorants are preferred over the ones that are available in the market.

As deodorants are applied directly on the skin so one should be very cautious while using them otherwise it can lead to serious skin problems. The deodorants available in the market contain chemicals which may be harmful to the skin. This may lead to unwanted reactions which may cause irritation. Therefore home made deodorants are preferred as they contain natural elements and don’t affect the skin. It is suitable for almost all skin types and there is no fear of any chemical reaction.

There are various recipes through which one can prepare a homemade natural deodorant. However the most commonly used natural homemade deodorant is the Geranium and Cypress deodorant. Both of the above mentioned are essential oils and make a very beautiful combination of the properties of skin care products and deodorants. It is so because Geranium has the property of antiseptics, astringents and other properties which are generally found in other skin care products. On the other hand Cypress helps in fighting with body odor and also reduces excessive sweating. However there are other ingredients also that are required to make this natural homemade deodorant.deodorants1.jpg

You will require 1 teaspoon of high proof vodhka, 10 drops of geranium, 10 drops of Cypress, 8 drops of bergamot, 5 drops of neroli, 4 drops of lavender, 3 drops of black pepper, 4 tablespoon of witch hazel, 2 tablespoon of cornflower water and 2 table spoon of orange flower water. Once these ingredients are arranged measure the vodhka in a 100 ml glass bottle with a spray attachment. Then add the essential oils carefully and shake it well so that it gets mixed. Then pour the witch hazel into the bottle and then add two flower waters and again shake it well. Now the deodorant is ready to use. Ensure that before using the deodorant you shake it well.
