Homemade Mouthwashes - Recipes for making homemade mouthwash

Face of a human being is a very vital part amongst all the parts that are present. Yes there are much more important organs that are present in human body still the face of a human being lend identity to the human being. It is said that a smile can win million hearts but what if the smile itself is not good? Yes, it may happen that when you laugh or smile or for instance start talking with people then everybody starts avoiding you. It is not that people don’t want to talk with you. Mouth order can be a very serious problem if not addressed at the right time. You might get socially dejected just because of this. Thus mouthwashes are the solution for this problem. There are various reasons because of which odor come out of your mouth. It can be stomach disorder and can also be improper cleaning of teeth. We eat many a times a day but clean our teeth only once. Thus the food particles remain in our mouth which gives birth to various germs. These germs in turn contribute in bad mouth odor. Thus mouthwashes are very necessary. A mouthwash will help you in eliminating bad breathe and will promote gum and mouth health. Though there are many mouthwashes available in the market, homemade mouthwash is preferable.

You can easily make a homemade mouthwash which will help you in the same manner in which the ones available in the market will. Some of the most common mouthwash recipes are: -

  1. Rosemary-Mint mouthwash – In order to make this you will require 2 and ½ cups of distilled water, 1 tsp of fresh mint leaves, 1 tsp of rosemary leaves and 1 tsp of anise seeds. Once the ingredients are arranged you will just have to boil the water and add the water and herbs and instill it for 20 minutes. Cool it and your mouthwash is ready.
  2. Spearmint Mouthwash – To make this you will need 6 ounces of water, 2 ounces of vodhka, 4 teaspoons of liquid glycerin, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel and 10-15 drops of spearmint essential oil. Once arranged boil the water and vodhka and then add glycerin and aloe vera gel. Add the spearmint oil and shake it well. Pour it into the bottle and keep it tight.
