Homemade (how to make) lemonade

Lemonade always comes across as one of the most refreshing drinks naturally prepared from lemon. The food value of lemon also adds to the nutrition of the body. This easy to prepare drink is an instant hit among the masses because it is easy to prepare. The drink is also very cheap as the only major ingredient of this preparation is the lemons which are easily available and also at very low price. The making of lemonade

The number of lemons should be taken according to the amount of lemonade required. The lemons used for the preparation should be exposed to some warmth which makes it easier to squeeze out the juice from the lemons. The lemons can be warmed by placing them in the microwave. Then the skin of the lemons has to be penetrated by a fork. One has to make sure that the penetration is not too deep down the body of the lemon. After this the lemons should be again placed inside the microwave for approximately a time period of 20 to 30 seconds. The lemons can also be warmed by pouring warm water on them after keeping them in a bowl. The lemons soaked in boiling water can be kept for 20 seconds. After the lemons are warmed they have to be rolled on a flat hard surface under the palm. They should be rolled until the flesh of the lemons being felt on the palm. This would be an indication of the flesh getting soft. After the lemons are being rolled they have to be cut in half. Each half cut lemon should be placed on the juicer to squeeze out the juice from the lemons.

After all the lemons are being squeezed to take out the juices all the seeds from the juicer should be removed. The excess of pulp that gets accumulated in the bottom of the juicer can be added to the lemon juice after the seeds from the juicer have been removed. Then water should be boiled in a saucepan and once the water starts boiling in the saucepan sugar should be added to it according to the taste. The water should be cooked until the sugar gets dissolved completely. Then the lemon syrup should be added to this mixture of sugar and water. The saucepan should be removed from the heat and the mixture should be kept for cooling. After the mixture gets cooled down it can be served fresh by adding ice to it.
