BLACKHEADS – HOMEMADE RECIPES TO GET RID OF THIS EVIL THING WHICH IS OFTEN SEEN IN OILY ZONES
Blackheads can be easily defined as the follicles whose openings are comparatively wider than the normal opening. When the sebaceous are over active, blackheads appear on the skin. They can appear anywhere in the body where the sebaceous are present and are over active. Oily skin and the environmental pollution are the main causes of blackheads. There is variety of products available in market claiming to treat blackheads. Although some of these products are good, some of them can cause adverse effect on the skin. Most of these products contain harsh chemicals which can harm the sensitive skin. However one can use natural homemade remedies which are quite effective in treating blackheads. Here are a few remedies which one can try to cure blackheads.
1) To prevent blackheads one can apply a teaspoon of lime juice along with groundnut oil in equal quantity to the face. This helps in putting a stop to blackheads forming on the face.
2) A mixture of Epsom salt and iodine is also very good for treating black heads. To make this one has to take 14th cup of hot water and mix it with one teaspoon each of iodine and Epsom salt. After it has mixed well and cooled down, the mixture is applied to the blackheads as well as the surrounding areas. The mixture can be dabbed with a cotton ball. After the mixture has dried it can be removed with a clean handkerchief or a piece of cloth.
3) One can also apply the mixture of drumstick pods and a little bit of lemon juice on the affected areas. This is a very good home remedy for treating and curing blackheads.
4) Fenugreek leaves also have properties that help in curing blackheads. To apply it on face, one can make a paste of the fenugreek leaves by adding a little bit of water to it. This paste is left on the face for around 15 minutes and then washed off with lukewarm water. If this paste is applied every night before sleeping then it is almost infallible in treating blackheads.
5) One can also make a face wash by blending fresh lime juice and bottled milk together for removing the blackheads.
6) Steaming is very useful in removing the blackheads. It helps in softening the pores making it open and easy to remove.
7) A paste of radish seeds and water is also very good for removing blackheads.
